Step 1:
Fill out your Form 4 paperwork and fingerprints on our in-store kiosk.
Step 2:
Add a passport photo by using the Silencer Shop app and a white background. Otherwise, ask our staff, and we are happy to help!
Step 3:
Go to www.EFORMS.ATF.gov and register for an account. You will select a 4-digit pin during registration, and you will be emailed a username. DO NOT lose these items. You will need them during certification.
Step 4:
You will receive an email from Silencer Shop within a couple of days that will say Review Documents. Click on this link, review the documents, and e-sign. You do not need to come into the store for this step, although you are welcome to do so. Feel free to contact us any time with questions.
Step 5:
CERTIFICATION - You will receive another email from Silencer Shop about a day after you have completed Step 4. This email will say Your Form 4 is ready to certify. Contact your dealer. When you receive this email, you can come into the shop to certify. We can also certify you over the phone as long as you have access to a desktop or laptop computer, as the system does not work on phones and tablets. Have your username and 4-digit pin available during this step.
Step 6:
Wait on the feds…The federal government isn’t great at much, especially not at working. Now we wait…When your Form 4 is approved, you will receive an email from eforms stating Status Change, and the email will say Approved. At this time, you can come into the shop, fill out your 4473, and pick up your item. Now wasn’t that easy?!
